Getting Started

Introduction

Welcome to Sunshine! As soon as you have installed our client and logged into the game, you need to create a game character. Our project has no faction split — all races belong to the League faction. So you can pick whichever option suits you from the list of available races and start playing.

After you log into the server, you will find yourself in the Coast of Salvation location. Right in front of you will be Selena Di Arder, from whom you can pick up the quest "The Mysterious Stone".

By completing this quest, you will receive all the rewards and opportunities described in it. And at this point you may face the following choice:

1. Use the Wondrous Ark — this item lets you jump straight into mastering high-level content without having to spend time leveling your character.
2. Without using the Wondrous Ark, level the game on your own up to level 70 — recommended for those who want to refresh some of their knowledge of the game or simply enjoy the story. There is an incentive bonus on the server for leveling your character on your own — after reaching level 70 you will automatically be granted certain rewards. You can read more about them in the section on leveling bonuses.

In the case where you used the Ark, you will be given 2 scrolls — the Wondrous Scroll and the Hero's Instructions. The first scroll instantly raises your character's level to 70, and also completes all story quests except for the raid ones; the second scroll distributes your talent points and rubies according to the recommended talent and ruby settings for your class.

Starting Equipment and the Incense Pendant

Once you have applied both of these scrolls, you need to get yourself some starting equipment. For this, you already have an Equipment Kit in your inventory. By right-clicking it, you will receive up-to-date equipment of the current tier, matching what your character can wear.

Besides equipment, you also need to acquire an incense pendant for your character, namely — the Eternity Crystal. To obtain it, you need to visit the Relic Master Dmitry Mukhortov in Novograd.

Basic Stats

Before setting out on your journey across the server, you need to bring your stats to good and effective values. We recommend distributing the 150 base stat points you have received, and also, with the help of the Burning Insignia of Attack and the Burning Insignia of Defense, setting up the stats on your character's equipment. Below are the recommended ratios of "universal" stat points for both PvE and PvP.

PvE	PvP

The ratios of these stats can be represented as follows:

1. PvE:

• Proficiency / Determination / Brutality: 1 - 2 - 1
• Vitality / Willpower / Bloodlust: 2 - 0 - 1.5

2. PvP:

• Proficiency / Determination / Brutality: 1 - 0 - 1
• Vitality / Willpower / Bloodlust: 2 - 1.5 - 0

By bringing your stats to these ratios, you will feel more than comfortable on your early journeys.

Talent Tree (Builds)

After you have used the Wondrous Scroll, you will have a basic template and, in some cases, free talent points and rubies. You can find out more about where it is best to distribute them, depending on your class, in the corresponding guide on builds.

Starting Your Journey

Having reached maximum level and obtained the necessary equipment, we recommend earning some gold for further upgrades.

The first location we recommend visiting is the Kingdom of Elements. This location is one of the first sources of Gold. Farming this location is unlimited, meaning you can freely complete repeatable quests here with both your main character (as well as its incarnations) and another, creating or deleting them at your discretion.

On Monday you receive 2 times more Gold from the Kingdom of Elements location (you can read more in this section).

By completing quests in the Kingdom of Elements, you will receive Kingdom of Elements Emblems as a reward. By trading with the NPC Evgeny Loykov on the Central Plateau, you can exchange these emblems for various goods, including Gold Tokens.

Besides the Kingdom of Elements, you can also begin your path by visiting the Astral Isles. We recommend asking in general chat for anyone willing to go with you, as this can significantly speed up the run. This can also be counted among the bigger ways to earn Gold, but only as long as you have Astral Keys.

For those who have trouble finding willing companions, there is an alternative way to complete it with free mercenaries. For this, you need to join the queue for an Astral Isle:

After that, you will receive the corresponding effect:

Once the indicated time has passed, you need to click the "Set Off" button, then use the ability Mercenary Contract and summon the mercenaries you need. But in addition to this, you also need to acquire the item Ozverin, which significantly strengthens your mercenaries. We also recommend bringing along one of the types of Astral Replicators, which will let you receive an increased amount of reward from bosses, but in turn this will use up more Astral Keys than usual. If you do not have the consumables listed above on hand, you can always purchase them at the Boutique:

Crystals, in turn, can be obtained both through gameplay, by exchanging Gold for Crystals, and with real money (you can read more about donations in the corresponding chapter)

The exchange rate for Crystals is dynamic and can be either higher or lower than in the screenshot.
